VENUE

Mas Palou

Why Spain, you ask? Since our loved ones are spread across the U.S., Europe, and Nigeria, we sought to find a venue that we loved that was semi-equidistant for everyone to travel to.

See why we fell in love with this venue!

Mas Palou is a family run estate. Built in the 14th century, it has been in the trusted care of the same family, passed down over 16 generations. The estate is surrounded by vineyards and is a fully operational winery with a cellar built in the 1800s.

The estate used to be a place for travelers on their way to Montserrat to rest and get food.

Our E&T seal, designed by Kiera Black of Bam Bam Madame, is based on the stone carving above the chapel, which was built in the year 1623. The carving features a round loaf of bread ("pa" in Catalan) and small egg ("ou" in Catalan)--the food once offered as staples to travelers--with an L in the middle, making it Pa L Ou: Palou.
